Actually the edges of the filter were "trapped" in the little valley between the two.. sealing it off. "IF" you don't travel in any real dust.. and needswings is on the books in the next 30 days.. I would probably let it go.. it's been proven even the filter seal.. doesn't exactly make a tight seal..
Rather play it safe , do U have a n/a XFire as well? If so do u have any ideas on gaining a bit of hp and torque ? Other than the crappy CAI I just installed , and a super 44 flowmaster that I installed after removing the rear cats and replacing the pipes to 2 3/4 pipes. Also have been looking into the eurocharged tuning kit that promises 20 hp increase .
Any suggestions ?
