Then there is cost and what people are willing to pay to have things done. From a manufacturer viewpoint its about R&D cost spread over the number of expected units to be sold. If those here are looking for a turn key system I am fairly certain that if they were out there we would have seen them already when that motor was still in heavy distribution.

These guys have the talent to do it and many of the vehicles I have seen come out of that shop are much more potent than when they arrived. We are not talking Honda setups here, they mainly specialize in Euro and GM V8 performance.
I agree that there are still issues, but they're different types of issues. Internal ECU work. If the company you're bringing up were able to do the work I'm talking about then my V8 would've been solved a long time ago with Jim. HDDP wouldn't have needed to go with an aftermarket ECU. Robert wouldn't have needed an entire donor car to pull modules from. The people with non AMG auto V8 swaps wouldn't be starting with a push button every 2-6 tries. An NA to turbo Mercedes would've been done a long time ago...

Who knows, maybe I'm wrong and they can do it. I'm telling you right now though an NA ECU will not work with FI without aftermarket help, and this company better have some serious ME2.8(.1) coding/binary know how if they want it to work factory or even close to factory. It's not just a matter of tuning with these ECU's. It needs to read what's going on differently. There is a reason the AMG ECU's are so different, they monitor so much more than the ME2.8's could and do it more precise.
