We ship a lot of our stuff ahead, but then, we don't often leave the country. Getting stuff like that thru customs can take a few days.
We ship items to canada for factory repair and it is NOTHING to see it take a week or more to go one way from Atlanta to Toronto or back.
Shipping ahead would be expensive. I've already been through it to where I'm visiting. For confirmation and security it's $65 for a 1.2 oz small flat rate enveloped package. That is 1-3 day shipping though.

I don't need fuel though, I'll buy it there. I just need to get the iron through.

Buying butane was expected, it's usually pretty cheap anyway.

Electric iron's wouldn't work. I need my fancy schmancy butane for hot air.
