Do it and yer covered. (I've yet to do the Sticky Key fix and I know it's gonna bite me in the @ss one day! Howard offered to help. Waiting for nicer weather)
Offer still stands TJ. Just let me know. FP... Pulling the RCM to check the solder points is easy. Use a high power magnifier. I resoldered the suspicious ones myself. TJ has RCMs to trade off already soldered. Maybe he would send you one to install, and you send your old one back to him. The sticky key fix is more labor intensive, but if I can do it, anybody can. Just follow the thread for repair. Don't wait till the key won't turn. I removed the ignition lock and popped out the springy thing and little rod, put it back together, and reinstalled. That was 2 years ago, and smooth as silk since then. Figure on taking about 2 hours to do it. You might want to consider using Gary's heated garage. If you plan on getting a CPS to have a spare, MAKE SURE its not a cheap China one, get a good one. I don't remember the brand, but I'm sure someone will chime in. Where's 180 when we need him. LOL Have fun .........
