Tell the mechanic that you will bring in a Crossfire that does not make a noise like yours does and he can fix it. Then he can tell you what it is that needs fixing and then you will know what causes the noise in yours.
Moral, get another mechanic.

I see you have about 60,000 miles on the car, not too many. You do not say if the noise comes from an inside wheel or an outside wheel in the turn. The suspension and drive line will have different forces acting on it due to the turn radius. Could be a CV joint or suspension bearing/wear point creaking. Back in the day I would have given all joints a little squirt of oil/grease and listened again and hoped I had cured it.
