I was lucky to have mine replaced for free last year. My car was imported into Florida and was traced to fall under the warranty program. I know someone else who had to pay $1200 towards the cost. I believe all owners should be given a warranty and Chrysler is being selfish as to who gets their tops replaced. I have had my share of grief with tires wearing out every 20,000 miles, Crankshaft Sensor and RCM Module problems, ash trays that are staying open, front end alignments with a special bolt etc etc etc....what will fail next?
I run Hankooks and if I drive decently, I can get 30,000 to 33,000 on a set of tires. I kinda wonder what tires you are running that you are only getting 20,000 miles.
Actually, you have listed, I think, most of the common problems with the car - and the RCM resoldering isn't all that expensive to fix, you just need to find a local electronics or radio shop with a technician capable of soldering.
Once you replace the front end bolts, alignments are easily done - I had mine replaced last year and the guys at NTB can have the alignment done in under an hour.
