I put a mount on my front bumper real close to the vertical split between the lower grill pieces. Worked great for Mt. Rainier runs. I also have one to the left of my rear license plate for backward facing video.
I bought a 32GB card and it lasts longer than the battery did. Need to pick up another battery for longer video time.
I LOVE the control app so you dont have to record everything from start to stop.
Need to find the time to edit and combine clips...
Camera was just a starting price huh.. LOL. I'm guessing you used the stick pad mounts? I'm not really wanting to put something on the car that is more or less permanent .. I did go ahead and download the editing program they offer, and have the phone app already setup. Just looks like it's back to school time with this little puppy..
