CHINA? After seeing THIS, I won't ever buy a NAPA filter again. The Purolator I mentioned above IS a repacked Mann filter from Germany.


Springs? Do you mean o-rings? The filters come with a set of o-rings, there will be one left over that you don't use.
Yank the old filter off, slide the new one on all the way, and replace ALL o-rings with those that BETTER be in the box with the filter.

There will be a BIG o-ring for the threads at the top (Make sure you place it correctly or it will leak) then three smaller ones on the arm of the filter assembly.
