Johnny-Q-Public just has no idea what it takes to commit to a cause that may put lives in danger daily. We ask of these troops (in all branches) their all, and when they get hurt or separate from their service it seems they are just pushed aside and marginally forgotten. So many think this commitment is 'just a job' but those who served know better. I just wish congress would quit taking away promised benefits and treat all vets alike in a way that would honor their service and sacrifice. Right now, this is not happening (backlogs of disability claims, reduction of pay and allowances, reduced COLA's, substandard care at VA facilities). Some programs tuned to hiring vets are extremely helpful, but I believe it would take a lot more ex-military in congress to provide this type of unique perspective. God Bless America, but for God's sake take care of those who stood a post, et-al!

Way too much money is going to worthless human debris that makes up the "self made loser class" while our vets go without. Senior citizens are next.
