I'm not saying that it is the cam sensor, I'm just saying it's easy to check. The car will run perfectly fine with the cam sensor unplugged, mine ran for months. You will get random misfire but it won't be specific.

So misfiring on all cylinders plus random. Unplug cam sensor. Is it all the same? Misfire on specific cylinders and random or just random? Just random means the cam sensor is bad.

Check the MAF though, cause I've had that be the problem as well.
