Mis fire all cylinders
Would the RCM be throwing its own code? When reading codes it randomly goes from cylinder to cylinder but the only codes are cylinder mis fire. I ruled out coil packs since its random and all cylinders. Is that a mistake? Also plugs and wires for the same reason. I feel it must be something simple I am over looking. I read the post on rcm repair and will be contacting tighed1 this week. Seems like a good idea even if not my current problem. Thanks for any input and help.

The RCM wouldn't throw it's own code, it is just a Relay Gateway, or housing if you will. The relay's are for things like the fuel pump, air pump, traction control etc.. We've heard all kinds of weird stories from the contacts or relays going bad. If the contacts are on there way to going bad for the fuel pump, it wouldn't surprise me if it was misfiring. Has it ever not cranked? Where all the lights are on, and the key does nothing? Or has it ever died on you while driving down the road?
So pull and send to tighed1? I assume he still does fixes. Saw a post last month. Easy to do?
Also see a post here for Airtex for about $140. Any updates on them and if its a good replacement?
