OK I understand all of that but the declared value on my FedEx form for the upper grille only was $246 not $200. (suspect they entered 150 pounds).
The really annoying part was that FedEx charged more for their "advancement fee" than the tax. I would have been happy to pay the six bucks up front but is now $12.65 plus a stamp.
ps this has nothing to do with Insured Value which can include shipping, handling, and tax
