I think the following is quite hilarious.
I've got the Carecraft Paint Protection on my Crossfire. I have yet to wax it and don't intend to wax it, ever. Once the Carecraft is applied, you do not wax. Once every 6 months you use a polish they supply (for free) to remove any surface accumulations that are not removed by normal washing.
He paid not to wax his car, but he has to polish the car every 6 months and says he is happy with that.
As PT Barnum said, there's a sucker born every minute.
