LMAO, if the referee doesn't work out then we may have a deal honestly.

I went to the ordinary smog shops in town to try but apparently our town was raided a year ago up to 3 months ago and smog shops were penalized for illegally passing engine swapped cars. They look now.
The referee is different. They closely examine your engine swap to determine if the smog equipment is all there, and functional, to approve the use on road. They slap a barcode on and report to the DMV that your VIN is now associated with a different motor. Then you can go to any normal smog shop for smogs. However they also check the year the engine was certified for. I have no idea how they pull up this info unless they have Star DAS with the EPC but it doesn't matter. If the year is caught then I'm screwed, unless I prove that '03-'06 SL500's have no difference in configuration or functionality.
One thought I had (which sucks) is to creat an exel file with '03 part numbers vs the '06 part numbers to show they are the same for smog equipment. To add to that, I was thinking of collecting pictures for '03's and '06's.
