I want the sound of the open intake.

Im not looking to do much better, just looking to get the sound, the cold air, the look, and more air! It will be unique as it appears no one has tried it yet either.

Are the inlets on the V8 engine cover the same diameter of the engine cover of the N/A V6?
I may start with the cones, get everything fit in place, and see if I like the sound. Once that's done, I should be able to get the correct V8 cover allowing the intake to chamber more air just before the TB.
