No they are bigger, about 3.10 inside.
The OEM intakes tubes are a push fit up inside the Mercedes air box inlets. That is because the OEM intake tubes have that flare on the ends, it will not last long though as they will get damaged and air will suck in upstream of your cone filters, but not the regular filters in the cover of course.
