However I did tell him about the disconnecting the battery fo a few moments and then reconnecting it to reset the anti theft interrupt to the starter motor.

One thing that he mentioned to me was that this occurred only 5 days after I got it back from him after he repaired the sticky ignition lock fix. In that repair he had to drill out the pin to get the assembly out and then opened the door in the back and removed the pin and apring. He put it all back together and it worked fine except he notised that even with that pin and spring removed the steering column still locked when the key was removed. He thought that was extremely odd and is wondering if something occurred that would cause the car to "think" it was being stolen, and therefore for the SKREEM module or anti theft system in general to interrupt power to the ecm and cause the fob not to unlock the doorsm etc.

As I said earlier, I drove the car in to work and all was perfecly alright. Locked the car and went into the office. About 8 hrs later comae out and no reaction to the fob and set the alarm off when I unlocked the door manually and opened it. First time I turned the starter it started them immediately stalled. Tried a second time and it did the same thing, only stalled out a bit faster (actually just chugged once). THird time no power to the starter motor, turned the key and nada.

Any ideas, guys???????

And if I have to ultimately have this car taken to a Chrysler dealership any ideas what SKREEM module diagnosis and repair costs in the USA??? I've have this car barely 6 months and until the ignition loced up it was absolutely perfect.......

Classic SKREEM symptoms. Maybe the halo around the ignition key hole has been damaged or had a connector fall of. This part is liable to fall of or is easily pulled away from the SKREEM module when fixing the sticky iggy. It has happened before.
