I would document your conversations with the dealer reps and send it to the GM and Service Manager.
ie. This is to confirm .......
Better to start legal action with something solid.
And that TV reporter thing works. Once for my son when after truck showed up and again when the same son told his problem source that is next action was to call the TV reporter. And neither got on TV.
They expect you to show anger. Be calm. Be professional.
