The price can vary a little but you still have to remember that you have new fluids to buy, zip ties, electrical tape, wire, a multimeter (if you don't have one)... Little things. Bigger things if you get the wrong designated motor, Upper pan, exhaust manifolds. Oh and speaking of which, the exhaust manifolds require fab to get in whether you use the C43's or make a set. The cheapest swap you could do other than the original motor, is the 4.3 NA V8... By far. You might be able to get by for $1500, motor and parts, but you would have some serious shopping to do, it would probably be a higher mileage motor and they're only a little more power than the V6 you have now.
