the main reason WHY is because e85 has the equivalent octane rating of race fuel yet instead of paying 10.00$ per gal for race gas you pay 2.99 for e85. it runs much much cooler than gas so you can run huge timing advance making bigger power than any pump gas without the fear of deadly detonation. while you use 1/3 more fuel than gas for racing its the best way to make safe power .
