Thanks to my younger son, I got to drive an Audi R8 at Harris Hill Raceway yesterday. The instructor was a fellow autocrosser with Texas Spokes. On the last of three laps, we hit 110 on the 900 feet straight. The Audi was impressive. Last week, I drove my NA Crossfire there (85-90 was my top speed on the same straight). Cornering with the Audi was impressive. If you have a chance to experience Xtreme Xperience (they travel to race courses all over the US), do so. I highly recommend it.
