I got the MorimotoH7 elite 3five kit last year as well, and it works like a charm. The light output is just epic compared to any halogens.

About the XB35 bulbs, I spoke with Matt from retrofitsource, and he informed me that the XB35 bulbs still have the shadow on the ground for the H7 kits. I think the reversed metal holder is only for the H11 ones? Anyone else care to ask them as well?
