We have all watched many people come before you and tell us that they can do it all, only to fade away into oblivion.

You are the exception to the rule, you have actually stuck it out and gotten results, some amazing ones, IMO. But keep in mind, for many of us that have been here several years (or closer to a decade for a few) Rudy has been the only real constant in this game. Everyone told him he could not do it when he first began as well, but he proved them wrong the same way you currently are. I see Rudy as IBM and you as Google, IBM has been around a lot longer and is capable of some pretty amazing stuff, but google is young, adaptive and is always brainstorming something new. Both amazing companies that do groundbreaking stuff, but different in their own ways. Keep it up!
You're completely right. He's done wayyy more than me. At the same time I do have 2 NA V8 6-speeds behind me, plus the C32 amg ECU working in a manual with 2 different crossfire's. Bart's turbo is running a stock 320 tune with bigger injectors but I already figured most of it out to get him to more boost and back on the 32 amg tune. Plus whenever the guy is ready in Illinois to convert to the new electronics, it's done. I wonder who referred him to me BTW . Like I said though, you're right except for the 100% part. Neither of us have done it yet, but both of us have idea's for that stupid cruise control for the 55K swap. We've talked about how to accomplish it and came up with 2 idea's. He's going with one that won't work with a manual since he doesn't need it to, and I'm going with the other that in theory should work with a manual. Steve's will run just like the 3 Rudy did. I mean hell, it's from Rudy's schematics and files. I gave him mine, he gave me his. I almost feel that people think there's beef between Rudy and I. That's not the case at all... We're the IBM and Google merger. lol.

It's not like I'm trying to dethrone him either. When we talked on the phone for the first time after my swap was done, you almost heard a sigh of relief in his voice. He works with the newer crazier stuff now and I almost got the impression that he WANTS someone else to take over this old chassis. Like Doc said, he may not be doing anything regarding this stuff here pretty soon...
