I have an issue with my 05 SRT where my crank pulley/damper came loose and ate part of the woodruff key. I have a new pulley, new bolt already here and a new woodruff key is on the way but I am at a loss as to how the old key will come out. Has anyone removed theirs before and be willing to let me in on the trick as to how it is done? It is possible I may be over thinking this but it doesn't look like it could just slide out.

I was able to slide the new pulley onto the crank and it does eventually line up with the remaining key but when I pulled the old pulley out it looked as though a large chunk of the key had been sheared off.
