I'm still waiting to hear back from the numerous places I messaged/emailed, but I am under the impression that a good plastidip paint job usually runs around $750. I am going for a more "custom" approach (satin white) which means they mix in a little bit of pearl additive and might make the cost a smidge more. Then again, I am trying to get a "friend discount" as I have alot of connections in my area's car scene as a result of my last car which was somewhat of a media wh0re.......lol.

Here are the places I am referring to.

A good plastidip job should last anywhere between 6-12 months depending on how you maintain it. My car is somewhat of a garage queen and being as I work from home and have a beater Civic that I drive when the weather sucks I full expect mine to last for a good while. The reason I decided to plastidip the car is because I only wanted a temporary solution to clean the car up until I save up to hopefully have the car resprayed the OEM black next year. My paint is a little rough around the edges and even has clearcoat failure on the driver side door. The car was like this when I bought it, but it only had 42k on it and already had a few goodies from Needswings & Eurocharged Performance so I couldn't pass it up. I think the satin white will look awesome and be a refreshing twist for this summer and then next spring it's going back to black.
