We're under the battery tray (tray removed) on an SRT6 coupe. What is this thin gray tube (that has been severed by deterioration from battery acid). It comes out of the firewall on the passenger side (under the battery tray) and then routes toward the center of the car but disappears (goes back into the firewall?) there. Can someone tell me what this tube is and what it does? I'm thinking I can put both ends into a slightly larger piece of tubing for a snug fit and kind of "splice" it back together.
