The headliner WILL come down on ALL coupes. Nothing can prevent it. Many on the forum have already replaced theirs. It runs about $150 if you remove the headliner and re-install after it's been relined.
That said, the seller should have told you what was wrong with the car before you made the trip. He not only wasted your time, but his own time, and only set you up to be disappointed. Whenever I sell a car, I make sure I tell every little thing that is wrong. That way, if the buyer still comes, he will not be disappointed, and really has no ammunition with which to throw at you.
yeah West I was like I'm not trying to beat you up really but there's a laundry list of stuff that's wrong with the car man and you have it on Craigslist and on eBay as the car is mint and need nothing and I came all the way down here and I found 10 things right off the top that are going to have to be repaired before I can even put the car on the road how am I going to drive it 170 miles back to New York on dry rotted tires that are literally splitting inside the tread so I needed to replace all 4 tires which would probably be around eight hundred bucks the headliner the Headlights were all foggy ...the TMPS sensor what showing the check engine light was showing the cup holder was brokeN....there were two or three strange noises I was telling him to listen four and he kept trying to justify it and I was like yo I didn't just fall off the Wonder Bread truck I know a lot about cars man and also you could hear what sounded like the caliper is sticking and dragging the brakes pads on the rotor I just told him there's way too much and I offered him 6200 as a f*** you I just don't have time for a project car I brought 9 grand with me and for That much I shouldn't get a project car I'm not expecting the moon and the stars but come on...I just wasted $170 On going down there to check out what this guy could have told me over the phone and the pictures that he took at crazy angles were deceptive so you wouldn't catch all this stuff
Uggghhh whatever..I'm not giving up..I will have a good coupe!
