I am trying to get a new radio in, but I'm having trouble identifying one particular wire.
It's tan with a green band.
I've been able to trace it back as far as connector C 219 - at least I think it's C219.
I have been all over the electrical diagrams in the workshop manual and I've tried several variations of "Tan wire" on the search engine to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you not using an adapter (Scoche VW018) to convert your "car harness" to your "radio harness". That makes it a plug and play job.
