Your 1st post says you purchased this car in 2011 and have not driven it much since, I am assuming the miles on it are are not too high. If so why would you change the water pump? I would not bother with the belt either unless it is cracked.
Are you being told this by the same friend that said the Crossfire was an updated DeLorean?
If so my suggestion is to get a new friend, it will be cheaper in the end.
