Just buy the highest mileage coupe 6-speed you can find and give me a call with all the money you saved by not getting an SRT. Lol

But only if you're ok with never matching the potential the SRT offers. Stock to stock, it hasn't been confirmed, but Jimmy has an SRT and I bet we would take them. Slightly modded SRT vs my car? No contest unless I'm heavily modded.

I want an SRT someday, but the motor wont stay, and the trans will be replaced with a better unit and retrofitted to the 55K programming and controls. With a TCU tune sure, the 32K trans can be ok. IMHO it's not all that and a bag of chips. The E55 auto trans and controls? Pretty damn decent, probably damn good with a TCU tune. I still feel I can match the shifts in my manual with the 55 in sport. Mercedes has never been known for making good auto's... Chris Harris on cars loves Mercedes, his one gripe every single time he drives one? The auto trans...
