In my life I have seen employees go from being loyal to their employer to not giving a damn about their employer and it is mostly the fault of the employers. Most, not all, employers see their employees as something to be exploited no matter the personal cost to their workers. They do not give a rats a$$ what the employees problems are and will get rid of them because the job they do can be done by someone who'll do it for less.
The result is employees who couldn't care less about the job or their employer. Unfortunately the better employers suffer when they hire someone who cares less about anything and with todays laws have a hard time firing them when they have been good boys during the probationary period. So we all suffer, lifes a beach at times.
