This! I had a Turbo Thunderbird in 1984 that kept eating clutch cables. Turns out the first tech put on the wrong mounting parts and no subsequent tech noticed - and Ford kept blaming ME after at least eight reruns of the same problem in a single year. I have not bought and will not buy a Ford ever again unless I get a personal apology from a Ford family member (I'm not holding my breath :-).
