I suspect it is an ignition off high drain issue.
Connect a milliamp meter between the negative battery cable and the battery post and see what reading you get with the ignition off.
Should run 30 milliamps or so.

If a high reading, start plucking fuses till it drops, that will help to locate the problem area.
