So Im brand new to the forum and considering buyin an SRT6. I wanted to first post here to get an idea of how easy or difficult the car is to work on. Im very competent and hands on (have tons of tools etc), I however am not looking for something similiar to Audi/VW where the "German Engineering" aspect is to prevent me from working on my own car....

I know its Mercedes based and I previously owned a 190D which was fairly easy to work on. What is the reliability of this vehicle as well? From my reading the engine and transmission are pretty stout pieces...
Is there any weaklinks in the drivetrain when it comes to modding?
