Alrighty ,so i felt i had to chime in here. heres the low down on LED head lights. THEY WORK WONDERFULLY. just not in our cars. i tried the first generation single sided LEDS and they did a nice job but didnt reflect inside the housing enough to provide adequate lighting, due to the projector design, i scrapped them and put in HIDS , those work quite well so far. next i took those LEDS and put them in the fogs, significant improvement over stock halogens , i highly recommend them , less heat , less power draw. love them, the LEDS pictured here are some of the more high end LED designs out there , they are considered second gen , reliability on them is so so due to lack of development , at 180 probably not worth your time. next these wont fit inside your head lamp. trust me ive tried. if you could get them to fit they probably would work better than HIDS , no warm up period , less energy draw, and more intense light from a single two points. next challenge would be aiming them correctly. i am working on a different model of LED head lights that may work for our cars, they have a smaller head, use different LED cree chips , its a work in progress. but my car is almost completely LED at this point and i love them.
