EBC Rotors and Rotex Pads HELP!!! hddp???
Ok so here's my problem, i bought EBC Dimpled and Slotted Rotors for the SLK320 with some rotex brake pads. Well the front rotors that had been shipped to me were for the SLK230 i presume because they were 11.3 inches in diameter not 11.8 like i needed, so i sent them back and i'm waiting on the larger front rotors, point being im not having issues with my front rotors so i can't tell if its the rotors characteristics or a mis-installation on my part...so here is my problem, the rear rotors TICK and its driving me insane, the ticking gets muffled and faster while braking and the ticking speeds up if the car speeds up, so its defiantly something to do with the rotors...i've had the rear wheels off many-a-times and i was just hoping and praying that this is a fixable issue without me having to get rid of the rotors...if anyone can help i'd be very appreciative!!! especially hddp!!!
