Personally, I find that when I've driven cars on a daily basis, super nice cars too, they became old hat, I would soon get so use to the car that it was second nature, nothing special. On the other hand, driving different cars on special occasions always keeps them special and I can honestly say, every moment I'm driving it, I'm totally enjoying it - I also enjoy having it when I'm not driving it. But I certainly wouldn't say, anyone, who drives his car on a daily basis, is somehow not enjoying it, I'm sure he is, I'd like to think, we all enjoy these cars in our own ways, they are special.
You are spot on. My Tahoe does winter duty when it is really bad out, and tows my car trailer, my Suzuki X90 is my "go to work" daily driver. A whole 6 miles round trip. And it is very rare in it's self, and my wife's MB is a nice ride. The two crossfires are my toys. The Harley has to be counted as well. This makes for a variety of fun. And, it does keeps the miles down. I like your explanation....
