2005 srt6 roadster for sale
Vehicle has been sold. Silver Blue, vin.#1C3AN75NX5X053729, 7,141 miles, $22,500.00
Was wife's car, truly a little 68 year old lady. Always garaged and no accidents. Car is stock and as far as I can see is in perfect condition. It is a little dusty as I have a dusty drive, but I will have it detailed if any interest is shown. I have seen that people on this site have paid 25 $ 26 thousand so thought I would throw it out here. Is not now or ever been advertised elsewhere. Car is located in Sequim, Washington 98382.
I can be contacted at patlyn@olympicwi-fi.com or 360-683-5046

NO they haven't in the last few years. I paid 25k 6 years ago. Good luck with your sale. Photos will help if you post a few. Aero Blue or Sapphire Silver Blue?
Here is an ebay link for an 05 SRT Coupe with 10K miles. Car never saw rain. He had Buy it now price for $15K but bids only went up to $13.3K. I was seriously considering this car. I called him last week and he said he sold it, not sure he let it go at the $13.3K bid price or not.

50% more miles on it and the eBay car lacks a top that goes down.
Some on this site have said a roadster is worth a couple of thousand more than a coupe. My opinion is the gap is much wider and broadening. This stems in part from my Jensen Interceptor experience. The salon I owned would be worth maybe $3,500. The exact car in a convertible about $35,000. It is same with my XKE Jaguar. Without a folding top an easy 10 times difference in price. The difference is even more dramatic in comparing the value of my Dakota factory convertible to a hard top Dakota.
But certainly the value is that point where the price someone is willing to accept intersects the line one person is willing to pay on that day, for that car, in that location. And, asking prices are often very, very different from actual sales prices.
Enthusiasts sites such as this offering comparables and a knowledgeable market place are a great help in determine values

Talking from a buyer's perspective and I put my money where my mouth is; I was looking for a clean SRT6 coupe, low mileage was important to me, I found several in colors I wasn't completely happy with in the 50 t0 80,000 mile range for 11.5 to 17 thousand, I found a few with over 100k miles in the 9 to 11 thousand dollar range. I found one, my color, with only 8,450 miles on it for 22k, I negotiated it down to 19.3. I felt I was paying all the market allowed at the time (three months ago). I too saw the one with only 10k miles with a buy it now price of 15k but it was after I had made my purchase, I thought that was a heck of a buy and that deal won't be replaced anytime soon, at least in my opinion.
Did I pay too much? Some I'm sure would say I did, but to me, paying a little more to get exactly what i wanted with less miles than i could have hoped for, was well worth it. I feel I got an almost new car nine years old. BTW, I had a great opportunity to buy an super nice SRT6 with only 54k miles for 5k less, but after I saw the one with 8k miles, that was the car I wanted.
Just some thoughts from a recent buyer's perspective.

As has been said repeatedly .. It's worth what someone will pay for it.. A persons financial status has a lot to do with worth it or not.. 17.5K on the roadster I want right now.. Just can't bring myself to that price tag though.. mileage to price I'm good with one that has a few more miles and less dollars.

A lesson I learned long ago was that with special interest cars that are no longer in production it is best to buy the lowest mileage best condition one you can find (almost) regardless of price and then quit looking at the prices for a long while.
Somewhat akin to finding the best bride and behaving properly afterwards.
And that brings in the scale of are you planning on "collecting" the car or driving and enjoying the car. I'm not after one to keep miles off. It will be a 2-3 days a week driver and special event car. (Dragon..CAA.. etc.). So paying a premium for an uber low mileage really doesn't fit into the scheme of things for me personally. I'll let someone else save one under glass.. LOL

Your suggestions above, that not driving one of these cars as much as you do is somehow not enjoyable or for that matter laughable, is a slippery slope. Under your assumption, if someone drove his crossfire daily versus your two to three days a week, would look at you the same way. Personally, I find that when I've driven cars on a daily basis, super nice cars too, they became old hat, I would soon get so use to the car that it was second nature, nothing special. On the other hand, driving different cars on special occasions always keeps them special and I can honestly say, every moment I'm driving it, I'm totally enjoying it - I also enjoy having it when I'm not driving it. But I certainly wouldn't say, anyone, who drives his car on a daily basis, is somehow not enjoying it, I'm sure he is, I'd like to think, we all enjoy these cars in our own ways, they are special.

My fatboy is a single seat....if not for my roadster a screamin' eagle ultra would be sitting there...but for now, the roadster can fill the void.... we all are different...
I let the $15K BIN get by me. So I saw a similar one on ebay classified with 12K and a list price of $18K but also with a Best Offer. I submitted my offer and said since the one with <10K only got to $13.3K, that I would offer $13.5K. The offer was accepted and my beautiful Aero Blue is sitting happily in my garage!
So here is a bit of a warning. Looking at ebay completed listings, they don't show the final price on best offer sales. They just show the asking price. Also, I had done a search on my VIN after I bought it and saw many sites mistakenly simply show it as sold for $18K. So my purchase may have inflated the expected selling price because the selling price was $4.5K lower than the asking price, and it appears no one but me/seller and those who believe me know what it actually sold for.
I did see that the one I bought was listed in the past when it had 11.4K miles at $21K on some web site, and then it dropped to 19K, before going to ebay for 18K or BO. The seller did say I needed to pay the deposit right away because someone else was interested but hadn't come up with the money. So the combination of this sitting with higher price and then no one following through helped motivate the seller to accept my offer, which was reasonable relative to recent ebay sales or non sales.
Now I see on ebay there is one with 67K miles and bidding is already up to $13.5K, when the one with under 10K only reached $13.3K a couple of weeks ago?http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrysler-Crossfire-SRT-6-05-chrysler-crossfire-srt-6-coupe-supercharged-heated-seats-power-options-/251601055937?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3a949770c1&item=251601055937&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
This 67K one is being sold by a dealer vs an individual for the <10K one. Makes me wonder if there is some shilling going on. There is just one bidder who went over $2.2K and he jumped it up to $13.5K right away? Or it could just be one buyer who didn't want to let another one get away. He may have seen the one I bought and thought it sold close to $18K?
Well, fortunately for me it was repeated very soon!

Then bid calmly and stay on your plan. Don't get too excited and over pay. Let one go when it gets our of reach. Be patient. Learn from each missed opportunity but really, just stick to a fair price and a good deal will land in your driveway.
Unless you are looking for a bargain on a Mercedes (which you won't find on E-Bay) this system works.
I don't think I ever overpaid for any car I ever bought this way. Can't say that about some I passionately bought at the dealership.
