Most of the center glare for the Crossfire projector is due to the light shooting out from the front of the HID bulb. If you have a capped HID bulb, it will eliminate most of the center glare. But again, that will take away some (not much) of the usable light. I do use the bulb & ballast from TRS, which I found quite reliable and output is bright and nice.

For me, and I do believe for most of the people, the amount of the light from HID bulbs are sufficient. (That's probably why no one replied the thread)

The only complain for me, like I said, is the amount of usable light for the projector output. (that sums up with the angle, amount of light, and the mount of light redirected from side of the projector to projector)

Also, I would love to get my hands on LED as much as possible as well, did the LED conversion for most of the bulbs almost within 2 weeks after I got my SLK.
