The N/A DED 6-speed manual transmission is a different part (which is what car I have) and for the life of me cannot work out why the service manual does NOT list the damn part!

I need to go source this part locally TODAY, can anyone please help me locate a part number (can be mercedes or other brand, does not have to be chrysler OEM) for a 2004 N/A manual transmission please!
Go to the 2007 parts list and that part is specified for the DED tranny.
I suspect your mechanic is wrong, what do you mean by different diameter? If the screws line up OK it should be fine. The outside diameter could be different, these parts have been made for years and maybe they are just made bigger and stronger now.
