Discovered my headliner starting to droop around the sun visors this morning. After 6 years of southern exposure, glue just isn't holding up anymore. Material is coming loose where it meets the windshield. Like others have posted, doesn't appear that material was wrapped along the edges of the headliner.

Not really interested in doing this myself. Just don't have the time anymore to take on a job like this. I've used a really good upholstery shop in town for several other projects. Most recent was the installation of a new convertible top on our 2006 VW New Beetle. (Note: Factory glue doesn't hold up where rear window is attached to top.) Guy does exceptional work and gets all the "hard-to-do" jobs from local dealers. He's been at it for 40 years or so. Probably will take it to him next week to get an estimate of time & cost.
