Decided to change out my supercharger oil, and the traditional methods of a syringe/raising the car wasn't working great for me, decided to make a quick liquid vacuum. Pretty simple to do, I haven't seen this idea on the forums yet. Figured it might help some people out.
Required items:
- 1/4" tubing - Aquarium air tubes can be purchased at Walmart
- Plastic bottle of favorite drink (Preferably thicker plastic)
- Standard household/shop vacuum with hose attachment
- Heat source and metal object to make small hole in said plastic bottle
Insert the vacuum into the top of the container, seal it however you deem necessary, make the small hole near the top of the bottle and run the tube down towards the bottom. The other end of the tube goes into the supercharger oil outlet. Turn the vacuum on and off to prevent the bottle from completely crushing. You just want negative pressure inside. Move the tube further back as it stops collecting as much oil.
