I have smelled what resembles rotten eggs a couple of times (and no I did not eat taco bell before that). Anyhow, I noticed it to be mainly when the car is either A.) Pedal to the metal or B.) Full Throttle in Sixth. I am thinking it is the cat. converter, not the clutch. If you want to smell clutch - go up an hill and burn her a little - you will smell it.
