The Crossfire is so reliable, who needs diagnostic devices? Only problems were the I/C pump (well known), a popped plenum plug (OBDII showed med the codes and scared the crap out of me - thought I blew the s/c), and a haywire transmission cable (do not need a code reader when you cannot go into 1st or 2nd). Yes, I did buy the OBDII for problem #2 and as the owner of three Audis it has come in very useful.
