Guys,
If you're going to mount your detector on the ledge make sure you use some kind of spacer to boost it up a bit. A radar detector needs to be able to "see" out the windows to be effective and that ledge is not high enough. If your detector doesn't have a clear view out the front and rear of the car you will significantly reduce the range at which you will get a warning!
