I've thought about putting a 35 or 55 watt lamp in the socket back there - for times when I'm stopped along the roadside at night. I THINK the wire is in there, but I've never looked to see if the extra socket is there.

I'm sure it's not legal here, but "legal" does not mean "safe", and "illegal" does not mean "unsafe"...
