In a roadster is where you'll want to spend more on better speakers. With the top down the cabin sonics are a whole lot different then in a coupe. Although I'm not in a roadster, I did splurge on some higher end JBL P660C 2-ways. Got em 1/2 off during last years Black Friday. The mids go low enough to be subs and complement the OEM woofers nicely. Paired with a Blaupunkt with the OEM amp and the music quality has improved 10-fold. Mind you I did have to do some modding (cutting) to the speaker opening to fit the larger magnet. But well worth the trouble.
