Very few cars are on the field for 3 days. I have been going to Carlisle for years. Most people show up Friday afternoon or evening and get something to eat and hang out in the parking lot until 1 or 2 am. You spend 9-4 Saturday on the show field and most people go home Sunday morning. There may be 6-8 cars on Sunday morning. There is usually a cruise on Thursday night, so you could actually spend 4 days. But since all the motels in town double their rates for event weekends it is a very expensive trip.[/QUOTE]

Yeah, understood. But as you noted, there are a number of options to make this more than just one day. I usually only take advantage of Friday and Saturday events with the group, but I have also gone back on Sunday for last minute swap meet action. I'm there primarily to hang with the guys and galson and off property, do dinner and party with everyone but I do enjoy checking out all hte other cars at the great show field.
