Bump!
Anyone going to the Chrysler Nationals/Carlisle in July 2015? I haven't seen any activity so far, seems like this is becoming a fading event for the Crossfire Group?
Just curious.....

We are going to be there. But we will be in the American Motors area with our 1969 AMX. Can't take 2 cars at $55.00 each to enter. It is not worth the cost for a one day car show.

I'm planning on going. I brought the whole family last year. They may be coming with me again this year. I will be in the Crossfire Group section. I'm only bringing my Crossfire. I don't think they will let me register my G8.......

BTW, to Singerron, it's not a 1 day show. We usually are at the field for 3 days.......

I'll be there, might bring a second Mopar to the show for another club, but my SRT6 will definitely be there.

It seems like it has been the COM guys and a handful of other regional members that have been supporting this show. To that, I just want to say thank you very much for making each Carlisle event special. Most of our cars have hit the decade mark and I'm still learning something new every time we get together. Hope to see most of you crazy folks chilling this year under the club tent!!!

Very few cars are on the field for 3 days. I have been going to Carlisle for years. Most people show up Friday afternoon or evening and get something to eat and hang out in the parking lot until 1 or 2 am. You spend 9-4 Saturday on the show field and most people go home Sunday morning. There may be 6-8 cars on Sunday morning. There is usually a cruise on Thursday night, so you could actually spend 4 days. But since all the motels in town double their rates for event weekends it is a very expensive trip.

Yeah, understood. But as you noted, there are a number of options to make this more than just one day. I usually only take advantage of Friday and Saturday events with the group, but I have also gone back on Sunday for last minute swap meet action. I'm there primarily to hang with the guys and galson and off property, do dinner and party with everyone but I do enjoy checking out all hte other cars at the great show field.
