You should get removal tools with the new stereo.


I just wired red to yellow etc. without "swapping" pins


Your new stereo will come with the sleeve. My Clarion's bend to lock into slot tabs wouldn't hit any depressions in the "cutout" and I had to add a very small screw in a corner to hold it.
